Full Circle

I spent last week in Washington D.C. catching up with old friends and doing a little initial job networking. It's amazing the effect travel can have on your perspective. Time away can remind you how important it is to take time for yourself, teach you appreciate the id just about every person you meet can teach you something about yourself and the world around you and most of all --- as cheesy as it sounds --- all things are truly surmountable.
I spent eight years Washington D.C. yet after just four months abroad and a total of seventh months - the city looked so different --- although, in reality, things stayed generally the same. My adopted city appeared beautiful again.
