Snow Storm in Florence
On Friday, between 4-6 inches of snow fell in Firenze. Snow itself is a rare occurrence in this town. However, so much snow at once, according to a local, happens MAYBE once in five years. It was clear given the Florentines' shared excitement, lack of clean up equipment and sudden inability to drive --- that heavy snowfall was indeed rare treat. Whatever, the case may be it made the already beautiful city of Firenze even more gorgeous and truly Christmas-y (Click on the picture below to see a few pictures of the snow covered city):
