Delayed Flight to Prague

Steph and I are sitting in the airport in Amsterdam, our flight has been delayed an hour. We are hoping it won't be cancelled (their is a French Air Worker's Strike this week - it shouldn't effect us but it might). We already have connected with our hostel in Amsterdam and should be ok should that happen.

The last couple days have been fun and very packed. We toured the Van Gogh Museum, had yummy noodles from Walk to Wok (highly reccomended), and spent another evening partying with other hostelers. Today we took a walking tour of the city which ended up excellent (New Amsterdam tours does them for free -just tips).

Our incredibly enthusiatic and knowledgable guide, Julian, originally hailed from Austrailia (a lot of Aussies around by the way. He took us on a tour that included a church that the Pilgrims visited before heading off to the New World, the narrowest house in Amsterdam (1.8 meters at its widest) and the famous coffee house that was featured in Ocean's 11 (complete with a large 14 year old cat who has lived his whole life - it's the most CHILLED OUT feline you will ever see - pictures forthcoming!).

I hope to do a few longer posts on Amsterdam (perhaps in Florence when our pace is a bit slower) - it was truly one of the most fascinating cities I have ever visited.

On to Prague (Soon I hope!)!
